Petalled Marvel!

ewallpapers.eu

Once in a blue moon, strikes the life’s inevitable arrow;

Aches rich the heart and eyes unfold the dams of sorrow.

I marvel…. how blithely subsists this supernal beauty, a rose;

Hovering cordially amidst the hardhearted prickles, so close.

Endeavors much, the loathly winds, to damp this rufescent lamp;

Nonetheless, walks in pride, this red splendor on storm’s gray ramp.

      Aaahhh……….your lovely appreciation is more beautiful than my little poem. I followed your inspirational works very closely. I read about your Chemotherapy and the struggle. I really do not know what to say………….but some sad feeling lingers all the time whenever I am around the shore of your blog. But I always Prayed and will be praying for your good health. May you have long long healthy years to live happily. Prayers Assured! Reva.

        Oh, Reva. I am so happy and “thankful” on this “Thanksgiving Day” to have found you. Oh, my goodness, you are an inspiration. I have only ever heard someone “almost” as eloquent as you – that is Stephen Lewis, former Special Envoy to the United Nations on the AIDS crisis in Africa. You, like he, are an artist with your words. Blessings to you!

          Pleasure is always mine. I am thankful to all those who have given me an opportunity to pray for them….. making me earn little closeness with my soul.

          I am glad to have you in my prayers. Gratitude for the blessings.. These are the only precious things that make me rich …..and of course, these are the things I starve for.

          Just want to know your name, so I can read out it loudly and humbly to Him in my prayers. I always believe that HE listens to my prayers for others, very quickly.

          They say love heals everything.If that is true……………..then sending pure LOVE to you. Stay blessed and healed. 🙂

            My name is Stacey. I am reading your posts and replies out loud to my blind mother-in-law who is living with my family and I. She shed a tear. She loves your writing. You have moved both of us today with your kindness, your heart, and your blessings. Thank-you.

              Dearest Stacey, the warm feelings you are giving me are making the saline mischief in my eyes dance one more time. So humbled and glad to know that my words though unseen and unread are felt deeply by your Mother -in-law. My good wishes and all the peace to her. I am short of words. Just bowing in all innocence to the emotional threads that are connecting us so lovingly and heartily.

              All the peace, health, love and life to you. Just trust yourself , HE rests there in you. Pay gratitude to your body in love. It knows to heal itself….just acknowledge its amazing master mechanism. Peaceful Prayers!

    Beautiful. The picture and poem are wonderful together. My favorite line is, “Endeavors much, the loathly winds, to damp this rufescent lamp” That might just be the best line I’ve ever seen!

      Thank you so much, dear. Your appreciation matters a lot to me. It fuels me to write more beautifully. That quoted line is the strong thread in the poem, reflecting the reality of life.

      Let me know your name, friend………….it makes the connection stronger. Reva. 🙂

    Beautiful. You are quite the dancer…… of wordplay. QUICK FAN INTERVIEW TIME (Matt from NC writes) “You write such lovely pieces of art through your word paintings, what is your approach before you begin painting with your words?”

      He He. I am basking under my lunar laugh, reading this. I do not know whether I am the dancer of wordplay but I am a trained dancer (classical style) in real life.

      Over to interview: Thank you, Matt for the appreciation. I basically follow one approach…………Before holding the brush, I make sure that my palette is emptied of synthetic colors that fade away easily……… and fill it with not so easily bleach-able richness of emotions . I dip my brush of thought in emotional dye and paint the canvas.

      Hope you got the answer.
      Stay amazing! 🙂

    “Hovering cordially amidst the hardhearted prickles, so close.” Inspirational! Even when there are things all around us that are sharp and hurtful, we can standout and be the soft, colorful, beauty. ❤ You are an amazing writer!!

    Wow – a marvelous poem, R!
    Hovering cordially amidst the hardhearted prickles, so close. – this line speaks so delicately and is yet so bold in itself. I also absolutely love the last line – it’s brilliant with the hope and strength invoked in the ‘red splendor’ as you so beautifully called it.
    Loved it, R!
    Hope you’re all well settled in your new place. Is it in London or outside of it? 🙂
